  • An evaluation of the impact of the internal workplace mediation training service

    This report is a comprehensive evaluation of Acas Internal Workplace Mediation Training (which leads to the Certificate in Internal Workplace Mediation accreditation). The research took the form of a telephone survey with mediators who had attended courses and case studies of three organisations, of which two had participated in Acas' in-house training. It sought to examine the longer-term effectiveness of the mediation course for the trainees and also to gain an insight into the effectiveness of the in-house training for organisations.

    This survey data report examines the main findings on the supply side of undeclared work around the EU based on a Special Eurobarometer survey carried out in 2013. The report examines the survey methodology, the concept of undeclared work, the characteristics of those supplying goods and services on an undeclared basis, the types of work activities that are undeclared, and income levels from undeclared work, including the extent of the practice of offering cash in hand.

    This report reveals results from the second biennial survey of the Bar. It provides a snapshot of the Bar and of aspects of barristers' working lives over the two years from 2011 to 2013, with survey questions covering employment status, practice area, working hours, earnings, career aspirations, and views about the profession.
