Workplace policy and management practices to improve the health of employees: Evidence Review 3
This report presents the third of a series of evidence reviews and is a qualitative review of non-intervention studies which explore the workplace factors that facilitate or constrain the ability of line managers to enhance the wellbeing of the people they manage.
The review, based on 65 studies, clearly demonstrates the links between leadership style and behaviours, support from line managers and wider factors, such as organisational justice and job demand and control on the one hand, and employee health and wellbeing on the other.
