This report containing IES research looks at gender and class roles in the European labour market. The report forms part of the STYLE project, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the causes of very high unemployment among young people and to assess the effectiveness of labour market policies designed to mitigate this phenomenon.
The report looks at several areas of class and gender roles including the extent to which policies for young people recognise gender differences and adopt a gender mainstreaming approach.
