Arundhati joined IES as a Research Officer in March 2023. Her interests are multi-disciplinary and include equality and diversity, wellbeing, and policy research through a gender lens. Arundhati has previous experience working in research at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) where she worked on human resource management, international development and education research. She draws from experience working with academics, organisations and charities on research as well as consulting projects in management, policy and corporate social responsibility.
Arundhati gained foundational research skills studying behavioural science during her undergraduate studies. She has also studied Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at the LSE. She has since gained experience with mixed methods research projects. She has experience utilising labour data from the Indian Government, conducting and analysing surveys, undertaking detailed literature reviews and conducting employee interviews. She is also proficient with SPSS and NVivo. Arundhati applies a gender lens to management and policy research. She has a global understanding of human resource practices and inclusion at the workplace.
