WREN: What Retains Experienced Nurses
Keeping nurses at work is a national priority. This study funded by National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) aims to find out more about the motivations of later-career nurses (defined as those aged 45 and over) to help determine what would encourage them to stay longer in nursing and the NHS. The research involves a literature review, analysis of nursing and labour force data, career narative interviews, and surveys including a Descrete Choice Experiment.
