The Department for Children, Schools and Families asked IES to provide some support for its workforce planning process. The process involved HR business partners and managers in a detailed dialogue about workforce requirements over the coming year, given any restructuring or changes in workload that are likely to occur. Our support involved contributing to, and commenting on, materials (guides and presentations), and writing case studies about the groups and divisions that have been through the process.
