The leadership legacy of LSIS

Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS) commissioned IES to produce a legacy report on LSIS’s contribution and achievements in developing and improving leadership in the further education and skills sector. The legacy paper built on previous work on leadership undertaken by IES (specifically The Audit of Leadership Development and Support Programmes and Leading and managing in recession: same or different skills?). The paper acknowledges the evidence base that is documented in the audit report, brings it up to date and also adds evaluation and impact evidence from LSIS leadership programmes.
