Evaluation of the Impact of Learning below Level 2 in FE
In partnership with BMG research, IES are undertaking a project evaluating the impact of learning below Level 2, for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. The work includes a literature review drawing on UK and international evidence about the value of training below level 2, and the impact on progression into further learning and on the role of training at this level on labour market entry. The project will also include data analysis of Individualised Learner Record data, a survey with learners studying below level 2, and value for money and cost benefit analysis.
