The Labour Market Story provides an up to date assessment of the state of the UK labour market and how it is performing relative to our international competitors.

It is intended to inform future skills investment and policy to deliver a more effective skills system and alignment of public and private investment in skills.

The Labour Market Story is based on research undertaken by the Institute for Employment Studies, the Warwick Institute for Employment Research, Cambridge Econometrics and the UK Commission for Employment and Skills.
